Eileen Mitzman
As president of Concerned Parents for AIDS Research I am pleased to thank our supporters and welcome new friends. CPFA was founded 20 years ago and has become a leading organization in the support of innovative AIDS research projects around the world. All of our research dollars are carefully distributed to scientists and programs that are rigorously evaluated and selected by our executive board of directors. The efforts of CPFA are driven by a hardworking group of volunteers who recognize that AIDS is a threat to future generations and who believe that its devastation must be stopped. Complacency mixed with poor judgment still propel the spread of this fatal disease and a cure must be found. AIDS is a pandemic that has no socio-economic boundaries. We all have the potential to be infected and affected. CPFA remains dedicated to our mission of supporting AIDS research so that an effective vaccine, and ultimately, a cure can be developed that will allow all our children to live in a world free of AIDS. I am honored to be a concerned parent committed to the fight against HIV/AIDS.
