Emory Summer Scholarship
Concerned Parents for AIDS Research is proud to
announce a second year of funding for the Summer
Research Scholarship at Emory University. Last summer
five amazing students participated in cutting edge HIV
research on the campus of Emory University and their
affiliated hospitals under the mentorship of world renown
AIDS researchers. This program was such a success that 3
students received National recognition for their work on
HIV/AIDS and all of the mentors have again volunteered
for the summer of 2010. We expect the announcement
of the five 2010 winning applicants and their projects to
be released in the next month. This $50,000 scholarship
program has fulfilled CPFA’s goal to create an environment
where young researchers are dedicating themselves to
become future leaders in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
